For developers
The command line tool, for projects with a build step like React, Astro or SvelteKit. Your agent can run every command here and explain it to you.
We are in a pilot. The command line tool is on npm as a beta. Some commands will come later.
Getting started
Copy one line for your agent
Press "Get the instructions" and copy one line that starts with npx deployai@latest start into Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot in VS Code, Codex in the ChatGPT app or Antigravity. The id in the line holds every choice you made, and the command prepares the folder and prints the steps for your agent. No sign up; in an account, each site has its own line on its page in the dashboard.
Get the instructionsOr by hand: prepare the project
Creates an instructions file for your agent called DEPLOYAI.md, plus guard files that keep secrets out of the upload.
npx deployai@latest initCheck
You get a list of what needs to change, if anything, and a ready prompt your agent can follow.
npx deployai@latest checkDeploy with no account
The site goes to a temporary address with no sign up, also with a small database. You get a link to keep the site in an account, and it is deleted after 30 days if you do not keep it.
npx deployai@latest deploy --guestOr: log in to your account
A browser opens, you log in once, and that is it. From then on every deploy goes to a preview address first.
npx deployai@latest loginLink the folder
Links this folder to a project in your account. With --create, it opens a new project.
npx deployai@latest link --create "My site"Deploy
The agent writes a short message about what changed. The site goes to a preview address first, and goes live only after you approve.
npx deployai@latest deploy -m "Added a contact form"Put it live
Looked at the preview and it is good? Approve, and this version goes live.
npx deployai@latest promote v1
What is supported
Supported today
- Static sites: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Sites built with Vite, like React, Vue, Svelte, Solid and Preact
- Astro, SvelteKit, Nuxt, React Router 7 and Hono, kept as they are. If the official adapter is missing, the check gives your agent the exact change. We build them, in an isolated environment for each site
- In beta: SolidStart, Qwik City, Analog, TanStack Start and Next.js
- A serverless database and file storage, with no server to manage
Not yet
- Frameworks with no official adapter for our servers
- Servers that run all the time, and background processes
- Other databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB. Your agent will move them to our built in database
What stops a deploy
When the check finds one of these, the site does not go up, and your agent gets exact instructions for what to change. After the fix, check again. Each one has a help page with a ready prompt, and the check prints the link to it.
- Writes files to disk
- PostgreSQL is not supported, use the built in database
- MySQL is not supported, use the built in database
- MongoDB is not supported, use the built in database
- Local SQLite file database, use the built in database
- sharp used at runtime
- bcrypt is a native module
- Native binary module
- Long-running or background process
- Runs a WebSocket server
- Project is too large to upload
- Astro server pages need the adapter
- SvelteKit adapter is missing
- React Router adapter is missing
- Hono starts a Node server
- Next.js needs the OpenNext adapter
- SolidStart preset is missing
- Qwik City adapter is missing
- TanStack Start adapter is missing
- .env file is committed to git
- Secret key in source code
- Runs shell commands (child_process)
- Runs its own Node server
- Built with a tool our hosting does not run, it needs rebuilding
- Nothing to upload in this folder

Honestly: the limits
- We do not change your code. We explain, and your agent fixes.
- A failed update does not take the site down. The previous version stays live.
- Every plan has quotas: sites, requests, data and more. When you get close to a limit, we tell you in advance.
- The database fits business sites, forms, bookings and small shops. It does not fit apps with a very high number of writes per second.
- A site deployed with no account is temporary: up to 10MB, a small database (5MB) and no environment variables, and it is deleted after 30 days unless you keep it in an account.
- We never delete your data or versions because of quotas. Never.
What is sent to us from your computer
The command line tool sends only technical information: a random install id, the tool version, operating system and Node version, each command name and its result, the framework and linked project id, the blocker and warning codes from the check, and after login your user id. Never your code, file contents, file names or secrets. You can turn it off at any time:
